Anthony DePhillips played for the Fordham baseball team from 1934-36.

A career .304 hitter, he hit .480 in his senior season, helping the Rams to the 1936 Metropolitan Championship. 

He committed only three errors in his three seasons with the Rams, helping the team to a 41-11 record.

He went on to play one season with the Cincinnati Reds in 1943.
