Tom Davis, a 2008 graduate of the Gabelli School of Business with a degree in business administration, was a mainstay in the Fordham starting rotation from 2005-2008.
Davis saved his best for last, being named Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Year as a senior in 2008, leading the conference with nine wins and a 1.90 ERA. He also earned First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors that spring, as well as being named a Second Team ECAC All-Star.
As a junior in 2007, Davis was a Second Team All-Atlantic 10 selection and led the Rams to the number two seed at the 2007 Atlantic 10 Championship. The Rams advanced to the title game that season for the first time since 1998.
Davis graduated as the Rams’ career leader in games started (50) and innings pitched (339.0) and is one of just six pitchers at Fordham to reach 200 career strikeouts. He currently ranks among the top five in school history in four categories: games started (first), innings pitched (first), wins (second) and strikeouts (fifth).
Following graduation, Davis was selected in the 16th round of the Major League Baseball draft by the San Diego Padres and played for two years in the team’s minor league system.
A native of Madison, Connecticut, Davis, a financial advisor,  resides in New Haven, Connecticut, with his wife, Amanda, and their daughter, Emily.
