Jerry Pepper was a three-sport star in football, basketball, and baseball.
He played quarterback on the football from 1931-33, and then served as then served as the team captain for the 1933-34 basketball team.
Over three baseball seasons from 1932-34, Pepper posted a career .331 average in 40 games, collecting 55 hits, 16 of which were extra-base hits, and 17 stolen bases. He hit a career-best .366 as a sophomore to earn Honorable Mention All-East honors, while batting .350 as a senior.
