Graham is generally conceded to be one of the finest quarterbacks Fordham ever had, as well as one of Rose Hill's first All-Americas in football.

A native of Akron, Ohio, he played four years of varsity football and baseball at Fordham. In football he was the team's leading running back in the ear of the single wing, while in baseball he patrolled the outfield for coach Jack Coffey and batted over .300.

After he graduated he coached All Hallows, Fordham Prep, Brooklyn Prep, Haverstraw high, and Valley Stream South High in football and baseball. Some of the players he has coached include George Sternweiss, and Joe and George Paterno.
