Hall of Fame
Dr. Lawrence Brown, a 1959 Fordham College graduate, was one of the most prolific squash players in Fordham history. Brown served as the captain of both the tennis and squash teams, playing both sports all four years. A standout player on both teams in his four years, in his final match he beat Jim O'Connell of West Point 6-4, 6-4. Brown was named MVP of both teams in 1959.

Following graduation Brown went to the University of Rochester for medical school and while there he was the number one player in the Rochester City League, winning the Rochester City Squash Championship in 1961. He also participated in the Lapham Cup (squash) against Canada in 1962 and was a New England Junior David Cup Team member.
