A 1989 graduate of Fordham College, Lascelles "Wayne" Seaton was one of the top sprinters in the history of the Fordham Track and Field program. Over his four years at Fordham, Seaton anchored three school record-setting relays (4x100 outdoors, 4x200 outdoors and 4x200 indoors), with all three records still standing today. He also ran the 400m leg on the school record-setting sprint medley relay team at Penn Relays in 1988.

Seaton was ranked in the top 10 in the East (IC4A) at 200m indoors and outdoors six times during his career, earning All-East (IC4A) honors each time. He also was a three-time Metropolitan Track Conference champion, a six-time CTC champion and three-time MAAC champion.
