Jack Allen, a 1988 graduate of Fordham College, was one of the top base stealers in Fordham baseball history, leaving numerous marks in the Fordham record book.

As a freshman, Allen broke Frankie Frisch's 67-year old stolen base record with 48 swipes. The 48 stolen bases were also tops in the NCAA in 1985. He was named First Team All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) as a freshman. As a sophomore, Allen was second in the nation in stolen bases and followed that season with a new Fordham stolen base record as a junior, as well as hitting over .400 on the year. He was named Fordham baseball Most Valuable Player and ECAC Tournament MVP as a junior. A team captain as a senior, Allen finished among the top ten in the nation in stolen bases as a senior. Allen graduated with seven offensive records, including most stolen bases in a career (173) and most runs in a career (182).

Allen helped the 1986 Fordham squad to the ECAC Tournament while the 1987 and 1988 teams won both the MAAC and ECAC championships and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. The 1988 Rams set the modern day school record with 36 wins.
