Hall of Fame
A mainstay of the Fordham Men and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, assistant coach Ed Cammon has been with the team for over 40 years.
Â
A coach with an extensive store of technical and mechanical swimming knowledge, Cammon is the solid link between Fordham's highly successful past and the current success of both the men and women's swimming and diving programs.
Â
Cammon has seen every one of Fordham's current men's and women's swimming and diving records set, and has had a hand in the successes the AquaRams have enjoyed during the past three decades, culminating in the 2010 Atlantic 10 Championship for the women's team and a team-best fourth place finish at the championship for the men.
Â
Cammon has also been recognized by her Fordham peers, receiving the 1993 Jack Coffey Award at the annual Block "F" Dinner, which is given to a Fordham administrator, coach, or alumnus for outstanding contributions and dedication to the athletic program.
Â
Cammon, a retired New York City firefighter after serving for over 30 years, is a 1981 graduate of Fordham University.
