Robert DiVincenzo was a mainstay with the Fordham baseball squad from 1973-1977. A catcher and designated hitter, DiVincenzo was a two-time All-Metropolitan Conference selection who finished with a .362 career batting average at Fordham. A consummate hitter and a two-year co-captain, he led the Rams with a .433 batting average as a senior which placed him 14th in the NCAA. His senior year was also highlighted by a 21-game hitting streak. As a sophomore in 1975, DiVincenzo led the team with a .357 batting average and 33 RBI and was honored at Shea Stadium as a Metropolitan All-Star.
