Frank Dougherty, also known as Ed or "Doc" played for the men's basketball team from 1926-29.

He served as team captain of the 1928-29 team that went 18-1.  Over the course of his three seasons, the Rams went a combined 51-4.

Named a multiple-time All-Star, he led the Rams in scoring during the 1926-27 season, netting 121 points.
