Jennifer Akerley, who received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Spanish in 2001 from the Gabelli School of Business, won gold medals at both the Atlantic 10 and Dad Vail Championships during her rowing career at Rose Hill.

As a sophomore in 1999, Akerley was a member of the varsity 4 that won Atlantic 10 and Dad Vail titles in addition to receiving the outstanding women's crew award at the Dad Vail. The varsity 4 also finished among the final four of 28 crews at 1999 Women's Henley Regatta in England.

As a junior in 2000, Akerley repeated the Atlantic 10 and Dad Vail championships in the varsity 4 and finished among final four of 29 crews at Women's Henley Regatta.
