The Fordham Dance Team (FDT) is an integral part of the Fordham Athletics experience. FDT rallies for their fellow Rams at both Football and Basketball games, always bringing a high-energy presentation to their halftime and sideline performances. While performing styles in pom, jazz and hip hop, it is hard to miss the team in their shimmering maroon uniforms entertaining the crowd, even during media timeouts.
 
In addition to Fordham games, the Fordham Dance Team has appeared at other sporting events such as Late Night on the Hill, Under the Tent at Homecoming, Ram Town, Collegiate Week on Good Morning America and the A10 NASDAQ Bell Ringing Ceremony (just to name a few). The FDT travels with the Basketball teams for the A10 Championship, NCAA March Madness and the NIT Tournament which has given the dancers the amazing opportunity to perform at Madison Square Garden and Barclays Center in NYC.
 
Giving back to the community is an essential part of the team’s agenda and is also the strong foundation of Fordham Athletics. The Fordham Dance Team prioritizes philanthropic events such as Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Relay for Life, Team Impact, Fordham Dance Marathon and participating frequently in food drives and additional activities in the Bronx neighborhood.
 
As the FDT continues to strengthen their role in the Athletics Department, they remain committed to amplifying the importance of school spirit and fostering the next generation of leaders for a well-rounded academic experience.
