Valerie Bosticco Kolb was a four-year letter winner with the Fordham volleyball team and a 1993 graduate of Fordham College.  She guided the 1990 team to a 21-18 record, the first winning season in seven years for the Rams and the most wins ever for a Fordham volleyball team.  She was named First Team All-Patriot League in 1991 and 1992 and was a Second Team selection in 1990.
 
She still holds numerous school records including career records for hitting percentage, kills per game and total blocks (281).  As a junior in 1991, she recorded 613 kills, a Fordham and Patriot League record.
