Fr. Harold Mulqueen, S.J., a class of 1914 graduate, was the Moderator for the Fordham Band for 55 years, having them in attendance at a multitude of Fordham events, including football and basketball games.  He also served on the faculty at the University as a professer of theology and philosophy.

Dubbed "Father Fordham" for his 80-year association with Fordham Univerity, he would later have a scholarship dedicated in his name.
