Dominic "Dom" Principe was a mutli-sport athlete at Fordham, playing football and baseball.

He played football from 1937-39, playing as one of the team's primary backs.  He scored the lone touchdown in a 7-6 win over TCU in the Rams' 1937 undefeated season.

He was a two-time All-American in 1938 and 1939.

In baseball, he was a career .289 hitter, totaling 55 runs, 12 doubles, six triples, and six home runs.  He hit a career-best .412 as a sophomore in 1937 with 13 extra-base hits.
