Another member of the original "Seven Blocks of Granite", Mike Miskinis was a strong right tackle on the dominant teams of 1929 and 1930.
A strong athlete known for hi punishing blows to opposing linemen, Miskinis was the oldest of two brothers to play on the Fordham line. As a junior, younger brother Julius backed-up Nat Pierce before an injury cut his career short during his senor season.
Along with right guard Henry Wisniewski, Miskinis helped create a gateway to open field for backs like John Janis, Charlie Pieculewicz, and Jim Murphy.
