His dominance of water polo can best be seen by the fact that Weber earned All-American honors all four years at Fordham. A co-captain in swimming and water polo in 1982, Weber also was named team most valuable player in 1982. He led the water polo team to the regional finals in three of his four years and helped Fordham to a fourth place ranking in the east and 19th nationally in 1982. Weber was named to the Mid-Atlantic Conference Team in 1982 as well as to the All-East Team. Weber was also a member of the National Sports Festival East team for water polo for three years and started for the NYAC water polo team for four years. He was invited to train with the U.S. National water polo squad in 1982.
