A three year started in the Ram outfield, Mark Pleto was a Metropolitan Conference All Star pick in both 1976 and 1978. As a sophomore, Pleto hit a career-best .372 in 24 games. In 1978, Pleto's senior season, he belted nine homers and knocked in 35 runs to lead the Rams to a 21-11 season and their first ever ECAC Tournament bid. His 1978 home run and RBI totals, as well as his career marks of 24 homers and 138 RBI, were school records at that time.
