Tom Garlick, a 1993 College of Business Administration graduate, rewrote the Fordham University football record books during his tenure with the Rams.

Garlick, a four-year letter winner with the football squad, was a First Team All-Patriot League selection in 1992 and Second Team pick in 1991. One of the top receivers in Fordham football history, he was Fordham's all-time leading receiver with 165 receptions in his career and his 2,323 receiving yards was also a school record. His 55 catches in 1992 was the third best single-season total for Fordham while his 738 receiving yards that season was fourth best. Garlick caught a then school record 21 touchdown passes in his career, including a then team record eight in 1991 and 1992.

Garlick also gradated with the school record for most kick-off returns in a season (27) and most kick-off return yards in a career (959). He was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week and Sports Channel Player of the week after a nine catch, 152-yard day at Harvard in 1991 and caught 12 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown in the Wild Geese classic in Limerick, Ireland.
