A two-time All-Liberty Conference selection and a Division III All-American, Langan was a major factor for the success of the 1987and 1988 teams as both teams won Liberty Conference championships. The two teams combined for a 19-4 record with the 1987 squad receiving a bid to the NCAA Division III Championships, the first ever postseason appearance for the Rams, and the 1988 team appearing in the ECAC South Championship game. He was named All-Liberty Conference both seasons as well as being selected All-ECAC as a senior.
