A member of the class of 1988, Pete Harnisch achieved tremendous success on the baseball diamond.
While at Fordham, Harnisch compiled a 21-3 record and set four school records for pitching. He led the country in ERA as a freshman in 1985 and was the 1987 MAAC Player of the Year and an ABCA/Rawlings Third Team All-American.
Harnisch was then a first round draft choice of the Baltimore Orioles in 1987 and went on to become a National League All-Star with the Houston Astros in 1992 and win over 100 games in the majors.
