Joel Iannuzzi, a 1980 graduate of the College of Business Administration, was a four-year member of both the men's water polo and men's swimming teams at Fordham. He was a member of the 4x100 freestyle relay team which set a school record in 1979. In his junior year, Iannuzzi led the swimming team to an undefeated season. He then capped his Fordham career in 1980 by being named Most Valuable Player of each team as well as being named Fordham Male Athlete of the Year and ECAC Athlete of the Year. He also received the Kiernan Award in 1980 which is presented annually to the Fordham College senior athlete with the highest GPA.
