Fordham Athletics has several committees with representatives from athletics and university administrators, student-athletes, coaches, donors, alumni, faculty, and staff who advise on the strategic planning of the Fordham intercollegiate athletics program. These committees also assist with the development of policies and procedures for the operations of the athletics department and the enhancement of the student-athlete experience.

The Athletics Steering Committee
The Fordham Athletics Steering Committee was created to assist in conducting a comprehensive review of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and developing strategic recommendations that advance the University’s vision and mission. This process included gathering peer data, interviewing stakeholders, and working with campus partners, outside agencies, and consultants for in-depth department assessments. This process is being utilized as the foundation of a strategic plan, master facilities plan, and an athletics capital campaign that properly positions the intercollegiate athletics program within the University’s organizational and missional structure.
