Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham softball team (13-20, 6-3 A-10) are back on the road for a midweek doubleheader at St. Bonaventure (5-21, 2-6 A-10). The two schools will face off on Wednesday, April 10
th, beginning at 2 p.m.

Last Time Out
For a third straight weekend, the Rams took two of three from their conference foes, this time against Dayton at Bahoshy Field in the team's home-opening series. Fordham took game one, 5-1, before falling, 13-6, in game two on Saturday. Fordham clinched the series victory with a thorough 7-0 win on Sunday. Junior
Madie Aughinbaugh earned Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week honors by firing two complete games, one shutout, with just one run and nine hits allowed over 14.0 frames, good for a 0.50 ERA. At the plate, the offense slashed .341/.429/.495.
Molly Roark walked seven times in three games and went 4-for-5 in her other plate appearances, good for an absurd .800/.917/1.400 slash line.
Maria Trivelpiece hit .583 with a team-high seven base knocks, while
Jordy Storm slashed .500/.583/.833 with a team-high 10 total bases and four runs scored, the latter tied with
Chelsea Skrepenak, who hit .417Â for the weekend.
Conference-Only
The Rams are 6-3 to begin league play this season with three straight conference series wins. At the dish, it's Trivelpiece and Storm pacing the offense in average, at .444 and .441, respectively. Trivelpiece has a team-high 16 hits, while Storm has a squad-best 10 runs scored. Roark is just behind them with a .393 average and has a team-high 11 RBIs. The trio all have an OPS of .990 or better.
Rachel Hubertus's three home runs leads the group. Aughinbaugh has once again turned her game up a notch in league play, firing a 1.79 ERA over seven starts. The junior holds a 5-1 record and has gone the distance in all but one game. Â

The junior fired two more complete games, one a shutout, to help the Rams to a pair of victories over Dayton at home this past weekend and was named the league's Pitcher of the Week as a result. Read more

Series History
The Rams hold an all-time 34-17 advantage over the Bonnies since 1996. Fordham has won seven straight dating back to 2015, including a sweep at home last year by a combined 12-1 score. The Rams are 13-8 all-time in Olean.

NCAA Ranks
One area the Rams have been successful in this year has been the long ball – the team ranks 61
st in the country with 0.88 round-trippers per game on the year, which tops the A-10.
Molly Roark leads the way with 10 bombs, ranked just outside the top 50 in the nation, but 50
th with 0.30 per game. Both marks are second in the conference behind GW's Jenna Cone. The team is also 105
th with a .424 team slugging percentage and 137
th with a 1.56 strikeout-to-walk ratio. The squad is also 116
th in Division I with a .281 batting average.

Program Ranks
Junior tri-captain
Madie Aughinbaugh continues her climb up the all-time pitching ranks. Over the weekend, the Port Tobacco, Md. native moved up into a tie with Rachel Gillen ('16) for fourth all-time with 39 career complete games and into a tie with Carol Fischer ('05) with 42 career wins, tied for sixth. She also moved into solo fifth with her 12
th shutout and up into sixth with 260 strikeouts, as well. With the second out of her next start, she'll move up to seventh in innings pitched. Senior
Chelsea Skrepenak stole her 30
th career base two weeks ago, moving into a tie for 10
th all-time with former teammate Sydney Canessa ('18). She is on pace to join the all-time ranks for runs scored and possibly a few others. Check out the softball record book

Storm Named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week
Senior
Jordy Storm earned her first career award two weeks ago when the league named her the Player of the Week. The Walla Walla, Wash. native garnered the recognition by slashing .429/.467/1.000 at the plate over a 2-2 week for the Rams. Read more about her week

Hubertus Named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week
The sophomore picked up her first career piece of hardware by being named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week in mid-February. Hubertus earned the accolade following an eight-game hitting streak and slashing .464/.483/.821 overall over nine starts at the hot corner. She is second on the team with six home runs and 14 runs, third with 25 hits, and fourth with 13 RBIs. Read more

Fordham Announces Melissa Inouye as Head Coach
Replacing 17-year head coach
Bridget Orchard this summer is former assistant coach
Melissa Inouye, who spent the past six seasons at nearby Iona College, taking the Gaels to one NCAA Tournament and one NISC Tournament, the latter after a MAAC regular season championship. Inouye, a two-time MAAC Coach of the Year, brings along her assistant
Matt Klampert to the same position and added former Dartmouth standout and Saint Francis graduate assistant coach
Katie McEachern to her staff.

Fordham Picked to Finish Second in Preseason Coaches' Poll
For the first time in seven years, the Rams have not been predicted by the league's coaches to finish atop the A-10 standings. Instead, Fordham has been picked to finish in a tie with Dayton for second. Read more about the annul preseason poll

Like a year ago, Fordham received nine of 10 possible first-place votes and 99 points from the league's head coaches and have thus been picked to successfully defend its Atlantic 10 championship for a sixth consecutive year. You can read more about that,Â
