Bronx, N.Y. – Friday the 13th brought plenty of luck to the Fordham Track & Field programs at the four-school Fordham Invitational, also featuring local programs Manhattan, Stony Brook, and Iona, with nine event wins, a new program record – sophomore Nkeka Pinheiro in the women's 60 meter dash, and two IC4A qualifying times.

Pinheiro and classmate Mary Kate Kenny both beat the previous school record in the 60 meter, 7.86  set by Sherilyn Groeninger in 2010, but Pinheiro's 7.82 was just barely faster than Kenny's 7.85. Kenny had previously matched Groeninger's mark last month at the Fordham Season Opener inside the Vince Lombardi Fieldhouse.

The Rams had two IC4A qualifiers, Brian Cook and Thomas Slattery. Cook won the 3,000 meter by just under 13 seconds with a time of 8:22.85, while Slattery finished second in the 5,000 meter, behind Manhattan's Amir Khaghani, with a time of 14:49.29.
