Track Competes at Hopkins/Loyola Invitational

Baltimore, Md. – The Fordham men's and women's track and field teams traveled to Baltimore on Saturday to compete in the Hopkins Loyola Invitational where Louis Santelli won the men's 400m race.
 
Louis Santelli took gold in the 400m in a season-best time of 49.30, bearing Rowan's Jamil Jackson to the line by 0.27 seconds.
 
On the women's side, the top finishers were Merissa Wright, who placed third in the 400m in a season-best of 57.34 and Mary Kate Kenny, who was fourth in the 100m in 12.55 and fifth in the 200m in 25.46, both season-best times.
 
The Rams only raced only relay on Saturday with the women's 4x100 squad of Mary Kate Kenny, Morgan Menzzasalma, Kylie Farrell and Christina Perrier placing third in a season-best time of 50.07.
