Football Closes Out Spring Season

Rams receive 2013 NCAA Championship appearance rings

Kendall Pearcey
had a strong day, displaying his talents both running and receiving the ball as the Rams look for a replacement for graduated All-Patriot League running back Carlton Koonce

Pearcey wasn't alone in turning head on the offensive side as wide receiver Marcus Jones made numerous catches, giving the Rams yet another threat at wide receiver

Tebucky Jones, Jr. also showed the crowd that he's ready to repeat his 1,000-yard receiving season from 2013

Nick Glogau and Tony Patrignelli were one the same page with not one, but two long pass completions, including one for a touchdown

The day wasn't all about the offense as the defense also came up big with Jordan Chapman and Alex Leo picking off passes and Nick Zawisha and Roan Herman recording sacks

George Dawson, Lourenzo Smith and JQ Bowers knocked down passes for the Fordham defense

The day ended with red zone offense with each side of the ball coming up with big plays, as Peter Maetzold connected on scoring passes to Jorge Solano and Phazhan Odom (who dunked the ball over the goal post following his score) and Robbie Cantelli hauling in two scores from Nick Glogau, the first on an  acrobatic, one-handed catch

The Rams closed the practice singing the Fordham Fight Song, led by honorary teammate Jonah Shainberg
