Flushing, N.Y. - (April 7, 2013) - Select members of the Fordham track & field team were in action on Sunday at the Queens College Invitational, held in Flushing. The Rams finished with eight top-5 finishes on the afternoon in the non-scoring meet.

Fordham was led by sophomore Caitlin Hart, who took second in the discus throw at 97' 3", while being third in the shot put at 33' 11 ½". Ashley Davis also took home a third place finish for the women in the 1,500 meter run in 5:16.52.

The last of the top-5 finishes for the women came in the 400 meter dash, as Tara Cangialosi was fifth in 1:07.48.

On the men's side, Matthew Rogacki had a pair of top-5 finishes, taking fourth in both the 110 meter hurdles (20.34) and the 400 meter hurdles (1:02.43).

Fordham also registered a pair of top-5 finishes in the 1500 meter run, as Kyle Clonan was third in 4:14.09, while Joe Hartnett was fifth in 4:16.31.

The track & field team will next be in action on April 12-13 at the 2013 Outdoor Metropolitan Championship, held in Ramapo, N.J.
