Bronx, N.Y. – (March 15, 2024) – After a brief layoff from the indoor season, the Fordham track & field team heads back outdoors this week, as the Rams begin their outdoor season at the Stony Brook Snowflake Classic.
This will be the sixth time in the last seven seasons that Fordham has opened the season at Stony Brook.
The meet is scheduled to begin at 11:30 AM with Fordham taking part in seven men's events and nine women's events.
For the men, the Rams have entries in the 100, 200, 400, and 800 meters, as well as the mile run, high jump and shot put events. The women will take part in the 100-meter hurdles, the 200, 400, 800, and 3,000 meters and the mile run on the track, while also competing in the shot put, long jump, and high jump events.
