Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham softball (23-18, 11-6) heads out for its final road series of the regular season this weekend up at St. Bonaventure (8-35, 1-20). The Rams and Bonnies will play a doubleheader on Saturday and a one-off on Sunday, both days starting at noon.
Â
Lace Up For Pediatric Cancer
The Rams laced up their cleats in gold against Saint Joseph's, partnering with the Go4theGoal Foundation to raise funds and awareness for children battling cancer in their community. Having a child with cancer is a huge financial burden for many families, and the pandemic has made their individual situations even more dire. Please continue to help us show these kids and their families that they don't have to fight alone by making a donation to our page via the link above or below!Â
Â
All funds raised will be used to improve the lives of kids battling cancer by providing financial assistance, funding innovative research, developing and implementing unique hospital programs, and granting personal wishes. Please consider making a donation through

Senior Day Ceremony & Title IX Game
Next Saturday's doubleheader with Dayton will feature our annual Senior Day ceremony – honoring our four true seniors,
Julia Martine,
Makenzie McGrath,
Gigi Speer, and
Sarah Taffet – but it's also our Title IX game, celebrating its 50 year anniversary and honoring all those who came before us to help get us to where we are today. We can't wait to see everyone at Bahoshy!

Â
Series History vs. St. Bonaventure
Since joining the Atlantic 10 in 1996, the Rams hold a 38-17 all-time series advantage over the Bonnies, including 11 straight and 23 of the past 24 meetings dating back to 2009. Most recently, Fordham hosted St. Bonaventure for a doubleheader last year and sweep it, 4-2 and 8-0, the latter in five innings. In game one,
Devon Miller matched her career-high of 15 strikeouts with her only blemish being a two-run home run in the seventh inning. Martine and Hubertus each homered. In game two, the Rams scored all eight runs in the second inning on five hits, two walks, and two errors. In the circle,
Madie Aughinbaugh allowed just four singles while punching out nine for her 14
th career shutout.
Â
Makenzie McGrath Named Pitcher of the Week
The senior earned her second weekly league accolade of the season and for her career with three more stellar efforts in the circle for the Rams, allowing no earned runs over 15.1 innings with 15 strikeouts. Read all about it
here.

#Dinger Watch
With her third-inning two-run bomb on Sunday,
Rachel Hubertus is now up to 15 home runs on the season, tied for 4
th-most in a season and easily leading the Atlantic 10. She's also 23
rd in all of Division I and 19
th with 0.37 per game. Hubertus is now solo fifth all-time, passing Katie Davis ('06) and Erin Fisher ('10), with 37 for her career. Meanwhile,
Julia Martine, with nine, is close behind in third, and
Bailey Enoch, with six, sits in a tie for fifth in the A-10. Put together, the Rams are 52
nd nationally with 1.02 dingers per game.
Â
Speed Kills
Graduate student
Brianna Pinto is a perfect 25-for-25 in stolen base attempts this season after stealing four last week and three more over the weekend, now fifth-most in a single campaign, and has been caught stealing just ONCE in her five-year career at Fordham, way back in April of her freshman season. She is now up to 85 for her career, 12 more than the previous record set by Krystle Henry in 2007. Unsurprisingly, Pinto leads the Atlantic 10 on the basepaths, by seven, but is also nationally 30
th in total steals and 22
nd with 0.61 thefts per contest.
Â
Chiefs of Staff
In the circle, Fordham is tops in the Atlantic 10 in team ERA (2.80) and opposite average (.243), tied for first with seven shutouts, and is third with 215 strikeouts. Freshman
Emilee Watkins holds the lowest ERA on the staff, 2.13, across 23 innings with a 2-0 record, but among qualified pitchers in the league, it's
Makenzie McGrath (2.25) and
Devon Miller (2.96) within the top-five. Those two are tied for fifth with 8 wins apiece, while Miller is sixth in strikeouts (91) and McGrath is 10
th (67). Sophomore
Bailey Enoch has been especially terrific of late, too, going 2-0 with an 0.88 ERA over her last three appearances and 16 innings, tossing her first career shutout and lowering her ERA to 3.67 while improving to 5-3.
Â
Last 10
The Rams are 7-3 over their last 10 games, thanks in part to more tremendous pitching (1.25 ERA) and an offense-wide .251/.334/.452 slash line. In the circle, all four pitchers hold an ERA under 2 during this span, led by Enoch and McGrath with marks of 0.88 and 0.94, respectively. Each of the three starters has one shutout, as well, during the run. Enoch is also getting it done at the plate, slashing .360/.500/.720 with three home runs, joined by
Julia Martine for second-most dingers, while unsurprisingly
Rachel Hubertus leads the way with five homers and 10 RBIs.
Brianna Pinto has seven steals and leads the squad with 11 hits.
Â
Milestone Watch
Pinto became Fordham softball's all-time stolen base leader with her 74
th career steal at home in the series finale against Rhode Island on March 27
th. She is now up to 85 during her five seasons in the Bronx. Home runs aside, Hubertus just entered the all-time top-10 for career RBIs, tied with Paige Ortiz ('12), for ninth all-time, with 118. She is also fifth with a .608 slugging percentage.
Â
Devon Miller is now solo seventh with 10 career shutouts, seventh with 296 strikeouts, and 10
th with 25 career victories. Â
Â
Bailey Enoch Named Pitcher of the Week
The sophomore earned her first career weekly award from the league by allowing just two unearned runs over 12 frames, striking out 10, in both of the Rams' wins two weeks ago, at Hofstra and against Saint Joseph's. This is now the fourth time in program history that three different student-athletes have earned Pitcher of the Week in the same season. Read all about her week
here.
Â
Hubertus, Miller Garner A-10 Weekly Awards
Several weeks ago, Hubertus earned her second career weekly accolade from the conference, while Miller picked up her fourth career Pitcher nod. Read about their weekends

Â
Makenzie McGrath Named Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week
The senior earned her first weekly league accolade on February 15 after picking up both of the team's wins opening weekend, one in her fifth career complete game and one in relief. Read all about her stellar performances
