Lace Up For Pediatric Cancer
The Rams laced up their cleats in gold on Wednesday and partnered with the Go4theGoal Foundation to raise funds and awareness for children battling cancer in their community. Having a child with cancer is a huge financial burden for many families, and the pandemic has made their individual situations even more dire. Please continue to help us show these kids and their families that they don't have to fight alone by making a donation to our page via the link above or below!

All funds raised will be used to improve the lives of kids battling cancer by providing financial assistance, funding innovative research, developing and implementing unique hospital programs, and granting personal wishes. Please consider making a donation through our page.

Last Time Out
Fordham split a doubleheader at Army on Wednesday, riding two, two-run hits by Rachel Hubertus, one single and one double, to a 7-2 victory in game one, but falling, 3-0, in game two. Read about it all here.

Series History vs. George Mason
Fordham holds a 17-5 series lead since 1995. The two schools met twice before the Patriots joined the Atlantic 10 in 1996, with each school winning twice. It's been nearly all Rams since, although this is the first time the two teams have met since the 2019 season. Fordham took two out of three in Fairfax that season, but Mason won the most recent meeting, 6-5, in walk-off fashion.

Bailey Enoch Named Pitcher of the Week
The sophomore earned her first career weekly award from the league by allowing just two unearned runs over 12 frames, striking out 10, in both of the Rams' wins last week, at Hofstra and against Saint Joseph's. This is now the fourth time in program history that three different student-athletes have earned Pitcher of the Week in the same season. Read all about her week here.

#Dinger Watch
With her walk-off bomb last Saturday, redshirt senior Rachel Hubertus is now up to 14 on the year, tied for 8th-most in a season already and easily leading the Atlantic 10 and 22nd in all of Division I and 24thwith 0.37 per game. She has started surging up the all-time list and is now solo fifth all-time, passing Katie Davis ('06) and Erin Fisher ('10), with 36. Meanwhile, Julia Martine, with nine, is right behind her and second, and Bailey Enoch, with six, sits in a tie for fourth in the A-10. Put together, the Rams are 49th nationally with 1.05 dingers per game.

Speed Kills
Graduate student Brianna Pinto is a perfect 22-for-22 in stolen base attempts this season after stealing four last week, now sixth-most in a single campaign, and has been caught stealing just ONCE in her five-year career at Fordham, way back in April of her freshman season. She is now up to 82 for her career, nine more than the previous record set by Krystle Henry in 2007. Unsurprisingly, Pinto leads the Atlantic 10 on the basepaths, but nationally she sits 34th in total steals and 32nd with 0.58 thefts per contest.

Milestone Watch
Pinto became Fordham softball's all-time stolen base leader with her 74th career steal at home in the series finale against Rhode Island on March 27th. She is now up to 82 during her five seasons in the Bronx. Home runs aside, Hubertus is now just six RBIs away from joining that all-time top-10, as well, and has moved up to fourth all-time currently with a career .610 slugging percentage. The pair are also on pace to enter the top-10 for four-year batting average, as well, by season's end.

With her latest no-hitter, Devon Miller is now joint-seventh with nine career shutouts. She is also moving up the strikeout charts, now seventh with 288, and last Sunday moved into 10th all-time with 23 career victories, as well.

Hubertus, Miller Garner A-10 Weekly Awards
Two weeks ago, Hubertus earned her second career weekly accolade from the conference, while Miller picked up her fourth career Pitcher nod. Read about their weekends here.

Makenzie McGrath Named Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week
The senior earned her first weekly league accolade on February 15 after picking up both of the team's wins opening weekend, one in her fifth career complete game and one in relief. Read all about her stellar performances here.

A-10 Preseason Poll
The Rams were predicted to finish second in the annual Atlantic 10 preseason coaches poll. Fordham garnered 71 points and three first-place votes, finishing just three points shy of last year's champions, George Washington, who received four first-place votes, and ahead of Saint Joseph's, who earned the final two first-place votes and 55 total points. Read about it here.
