Newport News, Va. – (December 6, 2022) – The Atlantic 10 Conference released the first edition of indoor track & field awards for the 2022-23 season on Tuesday.  Among the honorees was Fordham graduate student Tiffany Hanna (Nassau, Bahamas), who was selected as Women's Co-Field Performer of the Week.  She shares the honor with Rhode Island's Megan Wood.
 
Hanna began her indoor campaign with a bang, breaking the school record in the women's weight throw event at the Youree Garcia-Spence Invitational with a mark of 57' 2 ¾", breaking the previous mark of 51' 11 ½", set by Arianna Washington in 2006.  Her mark was also an ECAC Championship qualifying throw.
 
Additionally, she finished fourth in the shot put event with a distance of 37' ¼" and was given the Maxine Williams Memorial Award, as the meet's Most Outstanding Female Performer.
 
Hanna and the rest of the Rams will next be in action on January 14^th at the Lions Indoor Invitational, held at the Armory Track & Field Center.
