2021 Women's Soccer Schedule
Bronx, N.Y. - (August 2, 2021) – The Fordham women's soccer team released its schedule for the upcoming 2021 season, featuring 18 regular season contests, which includes 10 Atlantic 10 Conference matches.
The regular season for Fordham kicks off with three consecutive road matches, beginning with the regular season opener at Colgate on August 19
th. The Rams then head to Binghamton on August 22
nd and Manhattan on August 26
th to conclude the opening road swing.
The Rams then have their home opener at Jack Coffey Field on Sunday, August 29
th, against Fairleigh Dickinson. It is the first of three non-conference home matches in 2021 for Fordham, as the team will also host St. Francis Brooklyn on September 9
th and Quinnipiac on September 12
th.
Fordham will have two other road matches for non-league action against Marist (Sept. 2) and Army West Point (Sept. 5).
Atlantic 10 Conference play will start on September 19
th, when the Rams take on La Salle in Philadelphia. It is the first of five road conference matches, as the Rams will also travel to Richmond (Sept. 23), Rhode Island (Oct. 3), VCU (Oct. 10), and Dayton (Oct. 21).
The first home Atlantic 10 match for the Rams will be on September 26
th against St. Bonaventure. Other home games will be against Davidson (Sept. 30), Saint Joseph's (Oct. 10), Massachusetts (Oct. 17), and George Mason (Oct. 24).
The year then culminates with the Atlantic 10 Championship, which starts on October 31
st with the quarterfinals, which will once again be played at campus sites. The semifinals and final will take place on November 5-7 at the campus of the highest seeded team remaining after the quarterfinals.
For preseason, the Rams will have two home exhibitions matches against Iona on August 11
th and Stony Brook on August 14
th.
