The Rams swept La Salle in Philadelphia over the weekend, capping an 8-0 record against the Explorers this season. Head over to the team's schedule page to read each day's recap
here.
Â
Series History vs. Binghamton
Fordham leads the all-time series with the Bearcats, 10-2, since 2004, and have now won nine straight contests since 2007, including a 4-0 win at home in 2018, their most recent meeting. In that game, then-sophomore
Madie Aughinbaugh tosses a three-hit shutout, all singles, with six strikeouts for her eighth win that year. Fordham is 4-1 in the Bronx against Binghamton with their lone loss coming in 2006.
Â
Series History vs. Massachusetts
The Minutewomen hold a 54-28 all-time advantage over the Rams since Fordham joined the Atlantic 10 in 1996. The Rams are currently on a five-game win streak, however, including a four-game sweep on the road earlier this season by a combined score of 34-10. You can read about each doubleheader

Miller Named Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week
Sophomore
Devon Miller scooped up her second A-10 Pitcher of the Week award and fourth total (two Rookie of the Week honors) after tossing two more shutouts this weekend, her third and fourth, at La Salle, striking out 16 over 14 innings to pick up her ninth and 10
th wins of the year. Read about her weekend

Â
Nationally Speaking (as of 4/27)
The Rams are flying high right now so it should be no surprise to see the squad all over the NCAA Division I rankings. As a squad, Fordham is within the top-100 in nearly every single category and within the top-50 in half of them. The Rams' triple slash line of .314/.397/.537 sits 26
th, 29
th, and 20
th, respectively. Average and Slugging would currently be new school records, while the team's OBP would be second-highest. They also have the 10
th-best win percentage in the country (.853), are scoring the 18
th-most runs per game (6.50), have a collective ERA of 2.12, ranked 33
rd overall, and have the 62
nd-best fielding percentage (.968).
Â
At the individual level,
Devon Miller's recent performances have pushed her to seventh with just 3.13 hits allowed per seven innings and ninth with 11.2 strikeouts per seven. Her ERA of 1.37 ranks 35
th nationally, while
Madie Aughinbaugh is 54
th with an 1.61 ERA. Miller is also 68
th with 115 strikeouts and 80
th with a 4.42 strikeout-to-walk ratio.
Â
At the plate,
Brianna Pinto is 39
th with her .432 batting average, while
Rachel Hubertus' 1.26 RBIs per game ranks 15
th overall. Her 43 total RBIs lead the Atlantic 10 and sit 24
th in all of Division I. On the basepaths, Pinto is 19
th with 24 stolen bases and is 15
th with 0.71 per contest, ahead of Aughinbaugh's 0.44, ranked 94
th. Pinto leads the league in both stats.
Â
Dos Perfectos/National Pitcher of the Week
Devon Miller became just the third Ram to hurl a perfect game on April 2
nd against La Salle, the seventh in program history, striking out 12 batters over five innings then duplicated that exact same line the next day in the series finale, becoming the second Ram to toss multiple perfect games in a career and in a season, joining two-time All-American and Fordham Hall of Famer Jen Mineau. As a result, the Chadds Ford, Pa. native was named the Wilson/NFCA Pitcher of the Week in addition to her Atlantic 10 honors, as well, becoming the second Ram, after Mineau, to garner National accolades. Read all about it
here.
Â
Miller Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week Again
The sophomore matched her career-high with 15 strikeouts against St. Bonaventure last Saturday leading to her fourth career Rookie of the Week honor, two this year and two in last year's shortened season. Read about her weekend
here.
Â
Pinto Named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week
Senior captain
Brianna Pinto earned her first Player of the Week honor three weeks ago after helping lead the Rams to a 5-0 record, including a mammoth walk-off grand slam against Stony Brook, her first career home run. Read about it
here.
Â
Aughinbaugh Climbing the Ranks
Madie Aughinbaugh made her 100
th career start at Stony Brook three weeks ago, becoming one of four Rams to reach the milestone. She picked up her 63
rd career win in that game and is up to 64 today. The fifth-year two-way stud is within or just outside the top-three in every pitching category in the Fordham record book, which you can check out
here.
Â
Pure Thievery
Brianna Pinto and
Madie Aughinbaugh continue to race each other up the all-time stolen base ranks at Fordham although the former has pulled away in recent weeks, now up into solo fifth all-time with 56. Aughinbaugh is eighth with 42. Pinto has been caught stealing just once in her entire career – as a freshman against St. Bonaventure and has successfully stolen a base on 41 straight attempts. She is also up to 24 stolen bases this year, fourth-most in a single campaign. Jessica Hughes holds the record with 36 in 2016.
Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll
The Rams were picked to finish second in theÂ
annual preseason head coaches poll, just one point behind George Washington despite garnering one more first-place vote. The two schools were set to meet in the Championship final in 2019 but due to a rain out, the higher seed, Fordham, moved on to NCAA Regionals despite a share of the championship. It was the Rams' seventh straight league title, eighth overall, and ninth trip to Regionals.
Â
Up Next
The Rams finish up the regular season with a four-game series at home against Saint Joseph's Friday-Sunday, May 7-9. Â
