2022 Schedule
Bronx, N.Y. – (December 15, 2021) – The Fordham baseball team has released their upcoming 2022 schedule, which is highlighted by the Rams hosting the 2022 Atlantic 10 Championship at Houlihan Park in May.
This year's schedule begins with three straight road series, starting with Fordham playing at Texas A&M for the second time in four years at College Station. That series is set for February 18-20. The Rams then head to Virginia Tech, February 25-27, and Florida Atlantic, March 4-6.
The first game to be played at Houlihan Park in 2022 is set for February 23
rd against Sacred Heart. Then after the FAU series, Fordham plays ten of the next 12 games at home, starting with a single game against Stony Brook on March 9
th. The Rams then have a three-game series with LIU (March 11-13), a single game with Wagner (March 16), a split series with Marist (March 18-20), a single game with Siena, and a split series with Monmouth (March 25-27).
Fordham will also have non-conference home games with Fairfield (April 20), Iona (April 26), and NJIT (May 3). For non-conference road games, the Rams will meet Manhattan (March 29), Siena (April 5), Army (April 19), Fairleigh Dickinson (April 27), and Villanova (May 17).
In Atlantic 10 play, Fordham will play eight conference series with four at home and four on the road. The Rams will see Saint Louis (April 1-3), Dayton (April 14-16), Saint Joseph's (April 29-May 1), and St. Bonaventure (May 13-15) visit Houlihan Park this season. For road trips, Fordham will head to Massachusetts (April 8-10), George Mason (April 22-24), Rhode Island (May 6-8), and VCU (May 19-21).
The Atlantic 10 Championship will then be held from May 25-28 at Fordham's Houlihan Park for the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Championship.
