Fordham Athletics announces department-wide promotions, restructure, and new hires

Rams promote eleven, welcome 25 new hires

Bronx, N.Y. - This summer Fordham Athletics began the process of restructuring and reorganizing the Fordham Athletics department personnel and organizational structure.

"I am thrilled to announce the Phase 1 changes we believe will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Fordham Athletics department," said Athletic Director Ed Kull. "We will continue to evaluate how we operate and maintain our promise to promote, support, and make the necessary changes to advance the department and ultimately our student-athletes. These adjustments from Phase 1 and all future phases will be instrumental in developing the strategic plan, vision, and future for the entire department."
 
Administration
  • Jordan Bowles has been promoted from Assistant Director of Athletic Development to Associate Athletic Director for Strategic Initiatives and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
  • Charlie Elwood's title has changed from Deputy Athletic Director to Deputy Athletic Director for Business Administration, Operations, and Finance Performance.
  • Djenane Paul has been promoted from Senior Associate AD/SWA to Deputy Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Welfare and Competitive Excellence/SWA.
 
Coaches  
Compliance
  • Jamilah Ali has been promoted from Director of Athletic Compliance to Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Student-Athlete Development.
  • Shannon Raymond has been promoted from Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance to Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Governance.
 
Development
  • Kara Field has been promoted from Interim Director of Athletic Development to Director of Athletic Development, Assistant Athletic Director.
  • Allie Huey has been promoted from Development Associate, Athletics to Assistant Director of Development, Athletics.
 
External Affairs
  • Joe DiBari has been promoted from Director of Sports Media Relations to Associate Athletic Director, Director of Sports Media Relations
  • David Bernard Santana is now our Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing, Promotions and Tickets.
 
Facilities and Event Management
  • Joe Riley has been promoted from an Athletic Facilities and Event Manager to Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Management.
  • Steve Westerduin has been promoted from Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Management to Senior Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Management.
 
Sports Performance
  • Erin Cameron has been promoted from Head Athletic Trainer to Associate Athletic Director, Head Athletic Trainer.
  • Joe Gilfedder has been promoted from Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Performance to Senior Associate Athletic Director for Sports Performance.
  • Joshua Greer has been promoted from Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach to Associate Strength & Conditioning Coach.
