Kingston, R.I. – (March 1, 2020) – The 2020 Atlantic 10 Indoor Track & Field Championship has come to a close at the Mackal Fieldhouse in Kingston, R.I.
Massachusetts won the women's team championship with 120.5 points, just ahead of VCU (107) and host Rhode Island (103.5). George Mason was fourth at 91 points, followed by Richmond (84), Duquesne (76), Dayton (56.5), Davidson (40.5), George Washington (34), La Salle (27), Saint Louis (20), Fordham (15), and Saint Joseph's (4).
Fordham scored in three event finals and one relay on Sunday. After breaking the school record in the 60 meter dash on Saturday,
Kathryn Kelly scored fourth in Sunday's final in 7.67 seconds. Unfortunately for Kelly, she false started in the 200 meter dash and did not score in the final.

Other finalists on Sunday were Sarrinagh Budris in the 500 meters and
Helen Connolly in the 800 meters. Both finished eighth overall with Budris posting a time of 1:16.83 and Connolly clocking in at 2:18.18.
The final scoring event for the Rams was the 4x400 relay, where
Kyla Hill, Kelly,
Dominique Valentine, and Budris placed eighth in 2:56.26. Fordham just missed scoring in the other relay on Sunday, as
Jilli Jones,
Sydney Snow,
Taylor Mascetta, and Connolly were ninth in the 4x800 relay in 9:36.48.
Other individual track competitors on Sunday were
Bridget Alex (19
th – 5:17.80) and
Nicoleta Papavasilakis (25
th – 5:26.78) in the mile run and
Katarzyna Krzyzanowski (24
th – 10:37.05) in the 3,000 meter run.
Over in the field events,
Radha Dooley tied for 17
th in the high jump (5' 1"),
Jade Dyer-Kennedy (34' 3") and
Mary Kate Caucci (31' 6 ¾") were 21
st and 22
nd in the triple jump, and
Amanda Gurth (36' 9 ¾") and
Casey Metzler (33' 10 ¾") were 15
th and 18
th in the shot put.
The Rams conclude the indoor season on March 7-8 at the ECAC/IC4A Championship in Boston.
