Fordham Announces Its Women’s Soccer A-10 25th Anniversary Team

Ram Fans Make Their Choices for A-10 Anniversary Squad

Bronx, N.Y. – (November 25, 2020) – After some very close votes and a tie or two, Fordham fans have selected their choices as the best of the best for the Fordham women's soccer A-10 25th Anniversary Team.  Fans were asked to vote for two goalkeepers, six defenders, six midfielders, and five forwards for a total of 19 players.  However, due to the passion of Fordham fans that created multiple tie votes, 22 Rams have made this anniversary squad.

The vote began with goalkeepers, where Shannon Misiaszek and Kelly LaMorte ran away as the top two Ram netminders, while a three-way tie for the final defender spot pushed eight defenders on to the anniversary team, highlighted by leading vote getter Brooke Salmon

In the midfield, a tie for the final midfielder slot placed seven on the team with Beth Kitson and Jessica Widmann a top the voting list.  The forward spot to no surprise saw the Rams' all-time leading scorer and Fordham Athletics Hall of Famer Denise Corrado with the most votes to lead the group of five forwards.
