Philadelphia, Pa. – (April 27, 2019) – The Fordham track & field team finished its stay at the 2019 Penn Relays, held at Franklin Field in Philadelphia.
The Rams only participated in the 4x800 relays, which started with the women's event. Fordham's team of
Aidan Moroz,
Kate McCormack,
Dana Beggins, and
Laurel Fisher had a great performance, placing fourth overall in a season-best and ECAC qualifying time of 9:11.71.
Then, in the men's 4x800, Fordham's quartet of
Christopher Strzelinski,
Louis Santelli,
Sean Sullivan, and
Sean Phillips, also had a top ten finish, taking tenth in 7:48.65.
The Rams will now focus on next weekend's Atlantic 10 Championship, May 4-5, which will take place at the UMass Track & Field Complex in Amherst, Massachusetts.
