Philadelphia, Pa. – (April 26, 2019) – The Fordham track & field team had another day of excellent performances on Friday at the Penn Relays at Franklin Field in Philadelphia.

On the women's side, Fordham competed in the 4x200 relay and the sprint medley relay, placing in the top 15 in both events. In the 4x200, the Rams' team of
Mary Kate Kenny,
Kathryn Kelly,
Sarinnagh Budris, and
Dominique Valentine finished 13
th in 1:39.34. Then in the sprint medley relay, Kenny, Kelly, and Valentine joined with
Helen Connolly to take seventh overall in 4:07.66.
The Fordham men took part in three relays on Friday. The team's first performance was its best, and just like yesterday, it came in the distance medley relay. Fordham's team of
Sean Sullivan,
Louis Santelli,
Christopher Strzelinski, and
Brian Cook finished third overall in a season-best time of 9:51.05. The Rams finished behind only Tennessee (9:47.79) and Pittsburgh (9:48.05) in the event.
The Rams also had a top ten finish in the sprint medley relay, as Jaredn Benn,
Antony Misko,
Chase Krug, and
Jeremiah LaDuca, finished ninth overall in 3:35.68.
Fordham's final entry on Friday was in the heats of the 4x400, where,
Kyle Mack, Benn, Krug, and
Jack Keegan were 39
th overall in a season-best time of 3:19.38.
The final day of the Penn Relays will have Fordham competing in the men's and women's 4x800 relays.
