Bronx, N.Y. – (December 6, 2019) – Despite a small number of competitors, the Fordham track & field team started its 2019-20 season on Friday with the Fordham Season Opener at the Lombardi Center Fieldhouse.
 
Aside from runners and field performers getting their first chance at their events, the meet also served another purpose, as the Rams and a number of alumni joined together to honor the late Brian Mulkeen, as the Rams' throwing circle was dedicated in Mulkeen's name with his family present.
 
The Rams then went to work on the track for the first time this season.  Below is a listing of the top performers in each event:
