Fordham Men's & Women's Track & Field Earn All-Academic Accolades from the USTFCCCA

Fordham Track & Field Has Both Programs Honored, While Jonathan Annelli and Brian Cook Received Individual Academic Honors

New Orleans, La. - The U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2016 Division I All-Academic Track & Field teams with a total of 342 men's and women's teams earning the distinction as a result of earning a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher. The Atlantic 10 Conference was once again a leader among the conferences for the 2015-16 season with a total of 17 teams represented, which included Fordham's men's and women's teams.
 
From a conference perspective, 11 Atlantic 10 women's teams were honored, while six Atlantic 10 men's teams honored.
 
Fordham was one of six Atlantic 10 schools to have both its men's and women's team honored, joining fellow Atlantic 10 teams, George Mason, La Salle, Massachusetts, Saint Joseph's and Saint Louis.  The women's team from Davidson, Dayton, Rhode Island, Richmond and VCU were also honored.
 
In addition to the team awards, Fordham also had two individuals, Brian Cook and Jonathan Annelli, receive All-Academic honors, based on their academic success and performance at the NCAA Regionals.
