For the first time, the Fordham Rams will play host to the newest member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, the Davidson Wildcats, this weekend at Houlihan Park.
Game one of the series will take place a little sooner than expected as Friday's game time has been changed from 6:00 PM start to 2:00 PM to avoid rain in the forecast. Saturday's game remains at 2:00 PM and Sunday is at noon.
SERIES HISTORY: Fordham, which stands at 10-19 overall, 2-4 in the Atlantic 10, has never played the Wildcats, who are 14-13 this season with a 4-5 mark in league action.

WHEELIN' & STEALIN': For the second straight season, Fordham is once again among the NCAA leaders in stolen bases. The Rams entered this week's action ninth in the country, averaging 1.96 stolen bases per game, while the 55 stolen bases for the team are tied for 13th in the country with Belmont and Oklahoma State.
Individually, junior
Joseph Runco has once again established himself as one of the top basestealing threats in the Atlantic 10 and the country. Entering this week's play, Runco is 21st in NCAA in stolen bases per game and 28th in total stolen bases. He has also climbed into the top ten all-time at Fordham, tying Eric Reese (2005-08) for tenth with 60 career stolen bases. He is currently three behind Vincent Ferraro (63 - 1980-83) for ninth.
WE'RE GOIN' STREAKIN': Junior
Ian Edmiston has a nine-game hitting streak entering today's game. He is batting .344 (11-32) with three doubles and five RBI over that stretch.... Junior
Charles Galiano has an eight-game hitting streak going into the weekend. He is batting .429 (12-28) in that time with two home runs and eight RBI. Overall, he has also reached base in 19 straight games... Sophomore
Matthew Kozuch continues to be a force in the Rams' lineup, as he has reached base in 25 straight games. Over those games, he is hitting .398 (35-88) with 23 RBI and 22 runs scored and has an on-base percentage of .523.
