Men's ResultsIt was a great morning run for the Fordham cross country teams on Saturday at the LIU Post Invitational, as both the men's and women's teams won the team title in Brookville, N.Y.

On the men's side, Fordham finished first out of three Division I teams with 25 points, followed by Hofstra and Wagner. Overall, the Rams were first out of 14 teams from all divisions.

The Rams, who saw a number of competitors for the first time this season, had four finishers in the top five, led by freshman
Brian Cook, who won the 8K event in 24:52.01. Fellow freshmen
Nik O'Brien (25:14.41),
Thomas Slattery (25:21.87), and
Louis Santelli (25:32.61) were right behind him in second, third, and fifth place, respectively.

Fordham had three runners in the top ten, who all made their debuts for the Maroon and White.Â
Brynna Harum finished third overall in 18:47.30, followed by Shea Williams in fourth (18:50.50) and
Stephanie Leo in sixth (19:01.42).
