Fordham junior swimmer Steve Sholdra (Renton, Wash.) was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week, it was announced today.  It is Sholdra's second career Performer of the Week award, and his ninth weekly award overall.
 
Sholdra won six individual events over three meets this past weekend against Marist, Fairfield and Connecticut. Sholdra started off the week with victories in the 500-yd freestyle (4:39.09), the 1,000-yd freestyle (9:36.07) and the 200-yd butterfly (1:50.81) against Marist on Thursday.
 
On Friday, against Fairfield, Sholdra took first in the 200 SCM backstroke (2:12.80) followed by victories in the 200-yd butterfly (1:50.75) and the 1,000-yd freestyle (9:26.07) against UConn on Saturday.
 
Sholdra & the rest of the Fordham swimming & diving teams have the weekend off, before returning to action on Saturday, November 8^th, against Boston University.
