2015-16: Capped off an incredible career at Fordham, earning MVP honors and was a finalist for the Lombardi Award as Fordham's male student-athlete of the year... Atlantic 10 Champion in the 400 IM (3:51.75) and the 200 butterfly (1:47.10) in NCAA "B" cut times to earn First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors... Set school records in both events and the Atlantic 10 record in the 200 butterfly... Took bronze in the 500 freestyle at Atlantic 10 Championships in a school record time of 4:26.27... Helped the 400 medley (7th) and 800 freestyle (8th) relay teams score at the championship... Named Academic All-Atlantic 10 for the third consecutive year, while also receiving Scholar All-America honors from the CSCAA... Named Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week three times... 2014-15: Team MVP after having an incredible junior season... Earned All-Atlantic 10 honors in two events, set two school records, posted two NCAA "B" cut times, and received Atlantic 10 All-Academic honors for the second straight year... Invited to compete in the USA Swimming Open Water Nationals in Miramar Lakes, Florida... Placed 26th in the 5K swim and 24th in the 10K event... Earned First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors by winning the 400 individual medley in a school record and NCAA "B" cut time of 3:52.72... Received Second Team All-Atlantic 10 honors in the 200 butterfly after taking second in a school record and NCAA "B" cut time of 1:47.93... Took bronze in the 1650 freestyle event with a time of 15:27.55, while also helping the 800 freestyle relay team finish seventh in 6:43.86... Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week twice... Won the 200 freestyle event against St. Francis (NY) (1:44.00)... 2013-14: Was once again Fordham's top performer in the distance freestyle events and the 400 individual medley... Atlantic 10 All-Academic selection... Named Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week once... Invited to compete in the USA Swimming Open Water Nationals in Castaic Lake, California... Placed 12th in the 5K swim and 22nd in the 10K event... Scored in three individual events and one relay at the Atlantic 10 Championship... Was fifth in the 1650 freestyle (15:42.11), seventh in the 500 freestyle (4:31.39), and tenth in the 400 individual medley (3:59.85)... Was a part of the 800 freestyle relay team that took seventh in 6:45.06... Won the 200 individual medley (1:55.88) and the 100 butterfly (52.59) versus St. Francis (NY)... Took first in the 500 freestyle (4:36.96), second in the 1000 freestyle (9:27.03), and third in the 200 butterfly (1:54.70) at the Yale/Rider meet... Won the 500 freestyle (4:37.93) and 200 butterfly (1:55.28) at La Salle... Won two events each in meets with Iona and Manhattan... 2012-13: Had an outstanding freshman campaign... Posted Fordham's top times in the distance freestyle events as well as in the 400 individual medley... Invited to compete in the USA Swimming Open Water Nationals in Castaic Lake, California... Placed 15th in the 5K swim and 17th in the 10K event... Named a USMS Long Distance All-American... Broke three individual school records and was a part of one relay record... Named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week a conference record seven times... Atlantic 10 champion in the 1650-yard freestyle event, setting the Atlantic 10 and school record in 15:24.66... Set the school record in the 1000-yard freestyle as a part of the 1650-yard event (9:16.22)... Was also a part of a third school record at the Atlantic 10 Championship in the 800 freestyle relay that clocked in 6:41.92... Scored in two other events at the Championship, taking fifth in the 400 individual medley (3:59.92) and 12th in the 500 freestyle (4:32.34)... Won multiple events in 10 meets... Won the 100 butterfly (53.06) and 100 breaststroke (1:01.47) against St. Francis (NY)... Won both the 500 and 1000 freestyle events in meets against Massachusetts, Rider, and Yale... Had four meets where he won three individual events... Won the 1000 freestyle (9:33.81), 500 freestyle (4:40.75), and 200 butterfly (1:55.52) against La Salle... Won the 1000 freestyle (9:28.74), 500 freestyle (4:37.26), and 200 butterfly (1:52.90) in the tri-meet with Williams and Boston College... Broke the school record in the 500 freestyle event at the Bucknell Invitational, clocking in at 4:29.82... Won the 500 (4:35.18) and 1650 (15:40.61) freestyle at the Princeton Invitational... Won the 1000 freestyle (9:26.69), 500 freestyle (4:38.91), and 200 butterfly (1:52.94) against Boston University... Won the 1000 freestyle (9:49.79), 500 freestyle (4:33.50), and 200 freestyle (1:42.00) against Marist... Opened his career with wins in the 1000 freestyle (9:24.02) and 500 freestyle (4:37.12) at the Connecticut/Bucknell tri-meet... Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's honor roll... Before Fordham: Swam for two seasons with the Renton High School team, as well as for the Bellevue Club Swim Team... Medaled at the USA Swimming Open Water National Championship in April 2012, finishing eighth in the 5K and 11th in the 10K events... Team captain and two-time All-League selection at Renton... State champion in the 500 freestyle (All-America Consideration), setting the Washington State Boys' State Championship record in that event... Finished 15th for Bellevue in the USA Swimming 2011 Nationals for the Open Water 5K Event... Was a Summer and Winter USA Swimming Junior Nationals participant, and the Pacific Northwest Swimming Male Athlete of the Year... Part of Bellevue's North America Challenge Cup Team, where he was named the 2011 Pacific Northwest Swimming Male Athlete of the Meet... Posted Senior National Qualifying marks in the 500 and 1650 freestyle events at the 2011 December Short Course Championship... Registered Junior National Qualifiers in the 200 freestyle, 1000 freestyle and 200 butterfly events and was named High Point Male Athlete of the Meet... Two-time Scholastic All-American Award recipient... Served as a U.S. Youth Ambassador to Qatar (2011) and as a Seattle Seafair Ambassador to Kobe, Japan... Received the U.S. Congressional Award, been named the Volunteer of the Year by the NW Burn Foundation, and served as the Editor/Writer/Publisher of the Pacific Northwest Swimming Newsletter.
