Hampton, Virginia – (February 19, 2026) – The Fordham men's swimming & diving team sits in sixth place after day two of the 2026 Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Championship, which is being held at the Hampton Aquaplex in Virginia.
George Washington leads the team competition with 270 points, followed by George Mason (199), St. Bonaventure (186), La Salle (175), Davidson (161), Fordham (139), and Saint Louis (108).
FORDHAM – DAY 2 MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Four men's events were held on Thursday with the 500 freestyle, 200 individual medley, 50 freestyle, and 200 freestyle relay.
- The opening final of the night was the 500 freestyle, where Quinn MacPhail qualified for the championship final with a school record time of 4:23.67. In the final, MacPhail just missed breaking the record again, scoring fifth in 4:23.71.
- In the 200 individual medley, Frankie Sanger qualified for the "B" final, scoring 15th overall with a season-best time of 1:50.68.
- A trio of Rams made the finals of the 50 freestyle, starting with Misha Semenov and David Topi making the "B" final and scoring 12th (20.22) and 15th (20.40), respectively.Max Maycher qualified for the championship final, netting eighth in 20.39 seconds.
- The last men's event on Thursday was the 200 freestyle relay, where Fordham's team of Maycher, Daniel Ribeiro, Topi, and Semenov placed sixth in 1:19.94.

- Day three of the Championship is on tap for Friday, February 20th with the 100 butterfly, 400 IM, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke, the men's three-meter dive, and the 400 medley relay.Preliminary races start at 10:00 AM with the finals at 6:00 PM.
