The Fordham women's tennis team finished out its fall season on Saturday, as the Rams posted a 5-2 victory over the Seton Hall Pirates at the Hawthorn/Rooney Tennis Courts.
 
The Rams opened the match by taking the doubles point.  Sarah Ali and Elliesa Ball defeated Julia Keenan and Hannah Liljekvist, 8-2, at first doubles, while Julie Leong and Estelle Wong topped Marisa Quevedo and Luize Strike, 8-3 at second doubles.
 
In singles action, Fordham won four of the six singles matches, all in dramatic fashion.  After Seton Hall earned victories at first and fifth singles. Ali evened the match at two all with a 1-6, 6-4, 10-8 win over Strike at second singles.  Then, Wong held off Katie Kim at fourth singles, 6-4, 3-6, 10-3, to put Fordham back on top. 
 
Leong (6-7 (5), 6-3, 10-6) and Carolina Sa (7-6 (1), 2-6, 10-6) finished off the team victory with wins at third and sixth singles.
