Biography
2014-15: Named team MVP for third straight season... Also named First team All-Atlantic 10 honors for the second straight year... Compiled an 18-10 overall record in 2014-2015, 13-4 in dual meets and 11-4 at second singles... Was 2-0 at second singles at the 2015 Atlantic 10 Championships (had one match halted) and 1-2 at first doubles at the championships as she led Fordham to its first ever appearance in the semifinals of the tournament... Teamed with Ellie Ball to win the doubles title at the 2015 NJIT Winter Invitational in January... Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll in the fall semester.
2013-14: Named team MVP for second straight year... Earned First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors… Accumulated 15 wins in singles play… All wins came in the second position… Picked up a first round Atlantic 10 Championship win against Taylor Holden of Rhode Island… Also had 23 wins during doubles play… Competed with Elliesa Ball in first doubles… Beat Nithila Asokaraj and Kathleen Uy in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Champioship doubles play… Were ranked tenth in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Region doubles ranking.
2012-13: Named team MVP... Was 12-11 in singles action as a sophomore... Went 9-9 at second singles... Third on team with the 12 singles wins... Also was 14-10 in doubles play, 10-5 with Amy Simidian at first doubles.
2011-12: Saw most of her action at the #2 singles slot... Posted an overall singles record of 15-11... Was 10-7 at #2 singles, 2-2 at #1 singles, and 3-2 in tournament play... Very strong doubles player posting a 25-7 mark... Teamed primarily with Bella Genkina, as the duo combined for a 17-5 mark between first and second doubles, as well as tournament action... Won five of her final seven singles matches... Won the "A" Backdraw Flight at the Stony Brook Invitational... Won the "A" Doubles Draw with Genkina at the Eastern Invitational.
Before Fordham: Three-year varsity tennis player at Crescenta Valley High School... 2007 All-Area Singles Player of the Year with a 45-11 record... 2010 All-Area Doubles Player of the Year with a 24-0 record... 2010 Team MVP... 2010 Pacific League Champion, after being runner-up in 2007... Ranked as high as #28 in southern California section in singles and as high as #4 in women's open doubles, and #20 in mixed doubles.... National Merit Scholar... Recipient of the President's Education Award, the Scholar-Athlete Award, the Bilingual Competency Award, and the Outstanding Achievement in Foreign Language Award.
