Just a day after senior Titi Fagade broke a school record and posted two ECAC qualifiers, it was men's senior
David Fajoyomi who duplicated that performance on Saturday at the Terrier Invitational, hosted by Boston University.
Fajoyomi broke the school record in the 200 meter dash in an IC4A qualifying time of 21.47 seconds, which placed him fifth overall. It bested the previous record of 21.93 seconds by Wayne Seaton, 25 years ago in 1989. Later in the meet, he won the high jump competition, as he cleared 6' 11 ½", which also qualified him for the IC4A Championship.
Fajoyomi's exploits highlighted a very good day for the Rams, as Fordham recorded four other IC4A qualifiers.
The qualifiers began with
Jonathan Annelli, as he placed fifth in the unseeded 3,000 meter run event in an IC4A qualifying time of 8:25.63. Then in the 500 meters, both
Sean Collins and

th place, respectively, in 1:04.16 and 1:04.81.
The final IC4A qualifier was
Ryan Polo, as he clocked in at 2:28.31 in the 1,000 meters, which placed him 18

The Rams also got strong performances for other members of the team, which included
Brian Walter and
Mike Turi. Walter placed 34
th in the 800 meter run in a season-best time of 1:55.60, while Turi posted the Rams' best mile time of the season in 4:18.12, good for 50
